Today we're pleased to announce that Volley has reached a bilateral agreement with ANZ for Open Banking payments.

This agreement enables ANZ's customers to pay charities and businesses using Volley through Open Banking.

Making payments easy for businesses

Volley allows registered businesses and charities to accept payments via payment requests, which can be shared with a customer or displayed with a QR code.

It works for organisations of any size, from in-person payments from our app, to an embedded checkout on your website. Payers confirm each payment securely in their banking app in a few taps.

Volley helps your business reduce card acceptance fees using account-to-account transfers.

Payments are typically settled within an hour and are safer thanks to the security guarantees and multi-factor authentication provided by banking apps.

Secured through Open Banking

"We're delighted to be working with ANZ to bring Volley payments to more Kiwis" says James McCann, founder and lead developer of Volley.

"Working with ANZ improves our coverage and helps us better serve businesses wanting to offer alternative payments options to their customers."

"We're delighted to have reached this agreement with Volley," says ANZ's Head of Open Banking, Jody Bullen.

"We look forward to adding them to our approved third-party payment providers so our customers can use Volley's Open Banking services."

"This agreement is another important milestone, as ANZ supports the growth and development of Open Banking for New Zealanders."
